So Last Era was launched in 2015 by Mr Lyley whose vision was to create a student-led history magazine to promote a passion for history in Bushey Meads School, as well as stretching and challenging the more-able students. This vision was brought to life by a group of students across different year groups who shared a common interest in researching and writing. The students who contribute are rewarded for their enthusiasm and effort at the end of each year with a historical themed trip. Previously we have visited: the Florence Nightingale museum, the Old Operating Theatre, the Tower of London, a tour of London and the London Dungeons.
